Happy Mother's Day!

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and with everything that has been going on in the world today, perhaps you haven’t had a chance to plan the special kind of day she deserves. We’ve come up with some great ideas on how you can treat your Mother to an amazing day without worrying about making reservations, social distancing, or breaking the bank.

1. Send flowers.

While this may seem cliche, flowers do show thoughtfulness - especially if you make sure to include her favorite type, color or scent. Not sure what to put together? Contact a local florist for help. Many florists can deliver for a minimal charge and we are sure she will love the bright display as a surprise.

Flowers Plus in The Landings is a great option for ordering flowers! Reach them at (706) 320-9333.

2. Have dinner delivered.

Not just any dinner though - make sure it’s from her favorite restaurant or one of her favorite meals. Don't forget dessert! We’re sure she will appreciate it. Some local options for delivery are: Waitr, DoorDash, GrubHub, and Uber Eats.

3. Make a coupon book of her favorite places!

Let’s face it, Mom’s have been cooped up just as much as the rest of the world. Make a coupon book of gift cards to her favorite shops, nail & hair salons, or coffee shops. Not only will the businesses appreciate your sale, but Mom will appreciate getting to use it whenever she pleases! When she does, she’ll remember that you’re the one who spoiled her. Here are some great options for printable coupons.

4. Order a subscription box. There are TONs of speciality boxes out there. If your Mom is hard to shop for, simply answer some questions and have a box sent for her to choose from! Everyone loves getting packages - especially when they are full of hand picked items! A few of our favorites are: FabFitFun - Active Mom House Plant Box - Plant Loving Mom Stitch Fix - Mom that loves to update her style POPSUGAR Must-Have Box - Assortment of style, wellness, and beauty essentials Winc - Wine Lover Book of the Month - Book Loving Mom

5. Write her a note.

Being a mom can be a challenging and thankless job! Remind her of all the things you appreciate about her. A few kind words go a long way when it comes to the ones that mean the most. Try writing mom a simple and heartfelt letter that she can tuck away and tell her all the reasons why you appreciate her as a Mom.

We hope a few of these tips spark some creativity and ideas for you!

To all of the amazing women out there who make us feel so special and loved, Happy Mother’s Day!
